Brooklyn took down Charlotte 133-121 exactly one month ago. Cam Thomas (ankle) returns as the guys from Kings County shoot for a fourth consecutive win.

WHO: Charlotte Hornets (5-11) at Brooklyn Nets (9-8)

WHEN: 7:30 PM ET

WHERE: YES Network (TV); WFAN-FM (Radio)

From our game preview...

Injuries: Ben Simmons is the only player out for the Nets as they slowly get back to full strength. Cam Thomas is fully expected to return from his ankle injury after missing nine games. Thomas will be on a minutes restriction, per Brian Lewis.

LaMelo Ball has a serious right ankle sprain suffered in a 130-117 loss to the Orlando Magic Sunday. The rest of the Hornets injury report is a litany of players out, or questionable. Brandon Miller is questionable, Nic Richards (concussion), Frank Ntilikina (leg) and Cody Martin (knee) are all out.

The Game: The return of Cam Thomas, even on a minutes restriction, presents a big boost for the offense. Remember, other than Opening Night, Cam Thomas and Cam Johnson haven’t played together this season. Same with he and Nic Claxton. Re-integrating the 27-ppg guard should prove interesting.
