Noah Clowney’s double-double, Jalen Wilson’s 20 lead Long Island Nets to win over Westchester Knicks

Noah Clowney had his fifth double-double and the Nets beat their G League rival, the Westchester Knicks in White Plains.

All three Nets draft picks finished in double figures Wednesday night as the Long Island Nets defeated the Westchester Knicks in White Plains, 111-104. Long Island is now 4-2.

Noah Clowney had his fifth double-double — 10 points and 14 rebounds — while Jalen Wilson scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, grabbed five rebounds and registered two steals. Dariq Whitehead, who’s still rounding into shape after off-season foot surgery, had his best all-around game so far, recording 10 points, four rebounds and three assists...

In addition to the three draft picks, Nets two-way Keon Johnson showed off his athleticism on his way to 14 points, his third straight double-figure scoring effort...

Kennedy Chandler, the former Grizzlies point guard, continued his strong play, scoring 18 points, grabbing seven boards and handing out four assists. G League veteran wing Kaiser Gates had 16 points and eight boards.

Long Island led 55-43 at the half, then built the lead to 15 going into the fourth. Two Knicks guards, Brandon Goodwin and Miles McBride, and a wing, DaQuan Jeffries, each scored 20+ points.
