The makers of NBA2K22 have given us a final list of the Brooklyn Nets player ratings ... just as the Nets finalized their roster (we think.) Not only are the Nets the only team with three players with ratings above 90, but their team rating following last week’s moves is now 84, the highest in the NBA.
The “Big Three” all ranked above 90 overall with Kevin Durant (96) James Harden (94), and Kyrie Irving (91) beating out the Los Angeles Lakers who only have two: LeBron James (96) and Anthony Davis (93.) Russell Westbrook was given an 86. Overall, Durant’s rating is tied for the league best with James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Steph Curry. Harden tied for eighth with Luka Doncic and Damian Lillard while Irving is tied for 12th with Jimmy Butler.
Putting aside KD’s justifiable argument that he should be at 99 — and he should — here are the final numbers, assuming Sean Marks doesn’t surprise us ... again.
- Kevin Durant — 96
- James Harden — 94
- Kyrie Irving — 91
- LaMarcus Aldridge — 79
- Joe Harris — 79
- Paul Millsap— 78
- Blake Griffin — 78
- Bruce Brown — 77
- Patty Mills — 77
- Nic Claxton — 77
- Jevon Carter — 73
- James Johnson - 73
- DeAndre’ Bembry - 72
- Cameron Thomas - 71
- Day’Ron Sharpe - 71
- Sekou Doumbouya - 71
In individual skills, Harris leads 3-point shooting with a 90 followed by Durant at 89 and Harden at 86. Harris is tied with Seth Curry among deep shooters behind Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. KD and Doumbouya are tied in dunking at 85.
