How’s that for a revenge game, eh? After losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs this past summer, the Nets went out and beat them in game 2 of the Las Vegas Summer League.

Yes, I know, not quite “revenge,” but it sure was sweet. Cam Thomas and Day’Ron Sharpe both looked great. Thomas was an offensive force, while Sharpe helped to clean up the glass; specifically with 6 offensive rebounds in 17 minutes.

Overall, the Nets had five players in double figures, including Reggie Perry (last year’s rookie) and David Duke, Jr., a promising young “wing.”

Although a 6’5” point guard at Providence, Duke has been slotted in the small forward position with Brooklyn.

The Nets take on the Washington Wizards on Thursday afternoon. No, they won’t have our old friend Spencer Dinwiddie in the lineup, but they will have rookie Corey Kispert (15th overall pick) in the lineup, as well as Chieck Diallo, 24, who was out of the league last year and is looking to get another shot at playing in the NBA.
