What a strange, weird All-Star Weekend it has already been - boring, yet not uneventful.
Little fanfare as both players and fans are even questioning why the NBA is even playing this game to begin with, which came a bit front and center on Sunday as the NBA announced that Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid will not be playing due to Covid tracing protocol.
The NBA's worst nightmare in Atlanta has been an outbreak among the best players in the world. Embiid and Simmons didn't have contact w/ peers there. In the instance involving the two Sixers stars, players have been kept in contact tracing and quarantine for 7 days this season.
