All the hints were accurate. The Brooklyn Nets will open the regular season at Barclays Center vs. the Golden State Warriors, part of a nationally televised double-header. The game will be the first of the 2020-21 season. It will air on TNT starting at 7 p.m. The Clippers and Lakers will play in the other game which starts at 10 p.m.

Shams Charania had it first...

The news comes a day after Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Nets will play vs. the Celtics at TD Center on Christmas Day. That game will be broadcast on ABC starting at 5 p.m. Here’s the NBA graphic announcing the Opening Weekend...

So, Brooklyn will be playing their first two games on TNT and ABC. In addition, their second and final preseason game vs. Boston will also be televised on ESPN2.

The two national games match the number of the team’s nationally televised games in the first two years of Sean Marks and Kenny Atkinson’s rebuild. The games will also pit the Nets two superstars against their former teams, the Warriors for KD, the Celtics for Irving.

The schedule for the first half of the regular season will be released Friday.
