The Sports Academy, formerly known as the Mamba Sports Academy, is Southern California’s top training facility for hoopsters whether they’re NBA all-stars or kids just learning the game.
And lately, it’s become part of HSS Training Center West, L.A. area gyms where seemingly everyone on the Nets roster from Kevin Durant to Kyrie Irving to Caris LeVert have been working out. Not far away, at Academy USA, we’ve seen Spencer Dinwiddie, Jaylen Hands and Devin Cannady working out, both individually and in 5-on-5 settings.
Just in the past few days, images or video of Durant, Irving, LeVert, Dinwiddie and Hands have shown up on Twitter or other social media. Take a look...
Here’s Durant with LeVert at Sports Academy...

And here’s a video from Dinwiddie at Academy USA. If you look closely, you can see Hands...
Other players from other teams are at the academies, of course, but for Nets fans, Southern California is a nice window at the team’s progress.
And of course, the Nets being bi-coastal, we saw KD back in New York this week, working out after a fashion in Midtown with his agent and manager Rich Kleiman...
