As Brian Fleurantin put it, “It’s getting darker.”

Hopefully, the Nets can shine a little light on the fanbase Monday night as they head to Orlando to take the Magic. Brooklyn needs this win. Badly. You, Nets fan, needs this win. Badly-er.

Game Preview

This is the first night of a back-to-back for the Nets, one of a league-low 11 this season. They come home to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday evening.

I don’t care who you play, you’re not winning anything when you turn it over 24 times in a game. Things like that can’t happen and when you’re a team as depleted as Brooklyn is, you can’t afford to give away possessions.

Having Caris LeVert back should make things a bit easier for the Nets long-term. He only played 15 minutes, but did make 5-7 from the field, including both of his 3-point attempts. As Garrett Temple’s offensive struggles deepen and the further Levert gets from the injury, he’ll be back in the upper 20s to 30s in terms of minutes a game. With this being a back-to-back, it’s not completely surprising to see him out. With him out, Garrett Temple and Joe Harris will have to pick it up.
