The Nets desperately need this one. The Pistons are beatable, they’re a bit beat up, and they just don’t have a ton of talent.
Some interesting news heading into this one, as Shams is reporting that Spencer Dinwiddie will come off the bench. A little firepower on the second unit?
“I’m told the Nets are moving guard Spencer Dinwiddie to the bench…”

Maybe this is the spark?
DeAndre Jordan won’t play on Saturday, however Nic Claxton is available to play. With Andre Drummond manning the middle for the Pistons the Nets will need all the size they can get.
WHO: Brooklyn Nets (18-25) at Detroit Pistons (17-29)
WHEN: 7:00 PM EST
WHERE: YES Network (tv), WFAN (radio)
In an alternate universe, Reggie Jackson would’ve been traded to the Nets for Brook Lopez in a four-team deal and everything would look drastically different around these parts. Even with the recent struggles, I think Nets fans would take this instead of the alternative.
Either way, Jackson is back for the Pistons after missing 42 games due to a back injury. This would be his third game in four nights and we’ll see how they manage him tonight.
Kyrie Irving played the last Brooklyn back-to-back, and he’s a good bet to do it again this weekend. His field goal percentages haven’t been there as of late, but he’s due to go off for another big scoring game soon.
