The Nets announced Tuesday that their final preseason game against the Raptors on Friday, October 18, will move from the Nassau Coliseum to Barclays Center. Ticket refunds will be issued at the point of purchase.

Tickets to the October 18 preseason matchup against the defending NBA champions will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at brooklynnets.com and ticketmaster.com.

The Nets open the preseason at Barclays Center on Friday, October 4, against Basquete Franca of Brazil. Brooklyn will then travel to China for the NBA China Games 2019 with games against the Lakers on October 10 in Shanghai and October 12 in Shenzhen.

The Nets didn’t provide any rationale for the move, but at the time the game was scheduled, Mikhail Prokhorov owned the Nets, Barclays and Nassau. Joe Tsai has since purchased the Nets and Barclays. Prokhorov retains ownership of Nassau. The Long Island Nets have played all but one of their home games at Nassau the last two years.
