We back? We back! After a nice All Star break, the New York Liberty are back in action. They've been off since last Wednesday when they lost to the Sun in Connecticut. They're back home on Sunday afternoon.

The opponent tonight will be the Dallas Wings. It's been a year of transition for the Wings and they find themselves near the bottom of the standings. They opened up the second half of the season on Tuesday in Las Vegas, and promptly lost by 32 points. Eek.

Where to follow the game

NBATV is the hookup. Tip off after 8 PM.

Injuries

Nothing to report for the Liberty. First time all season they've had a fully healthy team.

Skylar Diggins Smith is still out as she is working her way back from giving birth earlier this year. Tayler Hill and Azura Stevens are out as well.

The game

New York won the first game in late June.

Shout out to Imani McGee-Stafford

I hope we all take her message to heart.

Now that the Liberty are back and fully healthy, they're going to need to figure out their rotation. Asia Durr returned last game after being sidelined with a groin injury. She only played eight minutes but that was to be expected as she just got back. However, now that the whole team is back, we'll see how the minutes get divided up in the backcourt.

Player to watch: Arike Ogunbowale

It's tough being a rookie when you have so many responsibilities placed on your front door. Ogunbowale has had to shoulder the scoring load for the Wings while Diggins-Smith is out. She leads the team in scoring, but is sporting a .339/.284/.841 shooting split. It's tough as she's the main (only?) scoring option in Dallas this year, but the experience will help going forward.

A good weekend at All Star will help Kia Nurse as we hit the stretch run. Nurse dealt with a mini elbow injury in Connecticut which explains why she played a season low 18 minutes. As New York's top perimeter scoring option, she'll have to jump start the slumping Liberty offense.

Jam session

Today is Chuck D's birthday, and since I'm in the mood, it's only right we do it like this
