It’s been a quiet NBA Trade Deadline for the Brooklyn Nets, though they are getting a player...back...on Friday night against the Bulls.
Caris LeVert.
LeVert will be available for the #Nets tomorrow.

Well, there’s your player acquisition, Nets fans.
With Brooklyn still dealing with injuries from a few key players - most notably Spencer Dinwiddie - this will be a huge help for the team who is looking for some more depth at the wing position.
LeVert has been out since mid-November after severely dislocating his foot. According to Brian Lewis, LeVert told Kenny Atkinson he was “ready” to return.
Lewis also noted that there will be a minutes restriction, but, any help at this point is more than welcome.
LeVert came to Kenny Atkinson and told him he was ready. He’ll be in a minutes limit vs the #Bulls, but having him back will be a huge lift for the #Nets; like making a big trade at the deadline.

His coach understands.

As for LeVert, he spoke about the long road back and how good it feels now.

This may not have been the “flashy” move that Nets fans were looking for on this trade deadline, but it’s certainly some welcome news.
