Still no Kyrie Irving (shoulder) for the Brooklyn Nets as they take on the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night. Still no problem?

Spencer Dinwiddie has been great - maybe an All-Star? Shhh... - and the Nets are back over .500 after a win over the Hawks on Wednesday. Not ready to call this one a cakewalk, however, but the Hornets are in a weird limbo that in unenviable. They are in between being a good team and being a bad one; they’re just a team.

Game Preview

As the Hornets go about their rebuild, it’s essential that they find good young players. Charlotte was able to grab Washington at the tail end of the lottery in the 2019 Draft and he’s been good so far. The former Wildcat has started every game this season and is shooting an impressive 42.9 percent from three point range. He’s part of a young trio that has been pretty solid offensively for James Borrego.

Homecomings are always nice. Taurean Prince returned to Atlanta, got a nice video tribute, and put together a good game. Prince gives you quality shooting, energy, and positive contributions all across the court. Prince should give Washington a nice challenge at the four tonight.
