The Brooklyn Nets head into the weekend just two games over .500, with a 13-11 record. Coming out of Wednesday night’s home loss to the Hornets, the Nets embark on a critical back-to-back, home-and-away set this weekend which concludes with a home game on Sunday against the 76ers.

It’s been rather impressive that the Nets have been able to stay afloat without two (well, three...) of their key pieces, Kyrie Irving and Caris LeVert. And it doesn’t seem so, how should I put it, blues skies ahead-y as the Atlantic Division is rather deep. But, still, Nets fans have a rather high level of optimism when it comes to their team.
Prior to Wednesday night’s game, SB Nation took the pulse of the fans to see the level of confidence that each fanbase has on their team.
The results for these Nets are rather steady - and increasing!
How do fans of the rest of the Atlantic Division feel about their team?
Boston Celtics (17-6)
Philadelphia 76ers (18-7)
Toronto Raptors (16-8)
And, last but not least... the New York Knicks (5-20)
just looked to see how many games back the knicks are from the 8 seed. that's on me.— Rob Perez (@WorldWideWob) December 12, 2019
Ooops, I mean...
Oof. Well, lots of optimism in the Atlantic Division, with one exception.
Nets fans, still, are feeling good about where they are - especially considering the circumstances.
Which is what makes this weekend a big weekend, a big test for the team. And one that if you’re looking for tickets to Sunday’s game against the 76ers, look no further than this link. It’s been great to see Nets fans really show up and show out for these games, even dealing with some of the, um, stadium malfunctions.
