Expect a lot of player movement around the league over the next few days as NBA teams trim rosters and G League teams start filling out theirs. Here’s our latest calendar including both the NBA and G League Nets dates...

October 19 - Teams will start to cut down players, although deadline is two days later. Teams will want to start 48-hour waiver period.
October 21 - Last day the Nets can sign Taurean Prince to a rookie contract extension beginning in 2020-21 of face the prospect of him becoming a restricted free agent and open to offer sheets from other teams come July 1, 2020. The Nets avoided this deadline with Caris LeVert by signing LeVert to a three-year, $52.5 million extension on August 25.
— Rosters set for NBA Opening Day (5 p.m. ET). Teams must cut down to 15 players plus two two-ways. Exhibit 10 players cut on or before this date have their G League rights automatically transferred to Long Island Nets. In Nets case, that’s currently C.J. Williams, C.J. Massinburg and Devin Cannady.

—First of 20 nationally televised games, Nets vs. Rockets, at Barclays Center.
November 7 - Rosters set for G League Opening Day (5 p.m. ET)
November 9 - G League opens with Long Island Nets facing the Mad Ants in Fort Wayne. Two days later, it’s the College Park Skyhawks at Nassau Coliseum. Long Island is the Eastern Conference defending champions.
