DRAFT WATCH #2 - Moving out of the Lottery?

In those immortal words, if the season ended today, the Nets would be the eighth seed in the East ... and have the 16th, 28th and 33rd picks in the June draft.

With the calendar turning to 2019 (the first year the Nets have their own pick in six years!), there’s a spate of new mock drafts out there. With varying publication dates, the mocks may be a little out of date, but for most of them, the Nets are just outside the lottery. So on May 14, the night of the lottery, we can find other things to do.

It’s interesting to note that the last time we did a round-up, Ja Morant, Murray State’s electric point guard, was consensus Nets choice. This time, it’s Rui Hachimura, the Gonzaga big man.
