The Nets open Summer League play in Las Vegas, taking on the Magic.
Brooklyn started Milton Doyle, James Webb III, Tyler Davis and Semaj Christon. But a number of the Nets players were on the bench.
Neither Jarrett Allen nor Caris LeVert are playing in the game. The Nets have said the two NBA players may not play every game.

Ding Yanyuhang, who had been signed to play for the Nets, returned to China after a knee injury and Juan Pablo Vaulet is out with a sore foot.
And contrary to reports out of Europe, the Nets have not completed buyouts with Rodions Kurucs and Dzanan Musa, which means neither can play. The Nets did not intend to play Musa.
