D’Angelo Russell works out with D-Wade and Julius Randle

It wasn’t exactly one of his famous midnight workout photos/videos at HSS Training Center, but it’s more evidence of D’Angelo Russell spending time in the gym, specifically a Friday night.

The latest comes from Russell’s Instagram account featured with Lakers’ Thomas Bryant, Julius Randle, Dwyane Wade and former Indiana U. coach Tom Crean.

Bryant and Randle come as little surprise. Eric Pincus tweeted Friday that Russell stayed close to Randle despite the trade. Randle had said after the trade that “it was tough” to deal with.

We know he’s excited to play in Brooklyn. We know the Nets are even more excited to have him in Brooklyn.
