Nike debuts new “statement” jerseys ... including BKLYN

The NBA and Nike unveiled their new “statement” jerseys Friday night in Los Angeles and one of the stars of the evening was the “BKLYN” Nets jersey, a black-and-white number with the borough’s abbreviation. There sneak previews all over the Internet, but this was the official debut. And it got rave reviews...

And Nike made sure it got a close-up of DLo as well.

The jersey is reportedly one of four the Nets will wear this season. Home-and-away distinctions no longer apply.

Back in BKLYN, The Nets also tweeted out images of other players posing with the new design ...

And before the debut ceremony, DLo delivered a message to Nets fans.
