Rondae 4

The Brooklyn Nets will kick off their 2017 Las Vegas Summer League play on Friday night at 8:00 PM EST against the Atlanta Hawks. You can watch the game on NBA TV or on ESPN3 (online).

The Nets will have a number of their young core players on hand, including Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Isaiah Whitehead, Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and Archie Goodwin. Absent, however, will be rookie Jarrett Allen, who will miss the entire Summer League with a hip injury. Not Brooklyn “hip,” but hip-hip.

Kenny Atkinson will be coaching the team for the second straight Summer League.

Full lineup:

Brooklyn will also play on Sunday, at 6PM EST against the Milwaukee Bucks, and then again on Monday at 6PM EST against the New Orleans Pelicans. The tournament portion of Summer League then kicks-off on Wednesday of next week - so, schedule TBD.

Hey, you know what: basketball is back! Sure it’s Summer League, but, you know, it’s basketball.
