Among draftniks, Hartenstein is consensus pick for Nets

FIBA

With two weeks to go, you’d think the mock drafts would start to look somewhat like the finished product but instead the mocks we survey show a variety of outcomes particularly in the late lottery.

But for the Nets, a consensus has emerged among the drafniks. Of the 16 mock drafts NetsDaily surveyed this week, seven connected Isaiah Hartenstein, the German-American seven-footer, with Brooklyn. Five had him going to the Nets at No. 22, two at No. 27. Moreover, throughout our surveys, no prospect has been linked to the Nets more than Hartenstein. It isn’t even close.

There are new names for the Nets, like Terrance Ferguson, the 6’7” Dallas native who spent this season in Adelaide, Australia, or raw French big, Jonathan Jeanne. And again, the draftniks think the Nets are going big.

In three weeks, we shall see. Here’s the latest...

Only a few mocks go 1-through-60. As the Draft gets closer, the number will increase.
