Late in the fourth quarter of Brooklyn’s season opener, Jeremy Lin was assisted off the floor following a non-contact injury to his knee. Lin was in pain, grimacing in near tears as he looked at head coach Kenny Atkinson and yelled, “I’m done.”

His reaction speaks volumes. Cameras also caught Lin exiting the court, visibly limping. A fan tweeted it out with concern.

Adrian Wojnarowski also used “concern” in a tweet post-game.

Lin’s brother, Joe, tweeted out a message from the family.
Jeremy Lin has been a leader for this young Nets team the past two seasons. He couldn’t wait to get back out there after sitting out most of the last season and watching his team struggle.
Nets fan or not, Jeremy Lin fan or not... you feel for him.
