Now we are nearing the halfway point of games played...

AND we have 8 wins and like 30 losses. Lin has missed almost 30 games. We have blown at least 6 games that we should have won.

But as management has said, this year is not about wins and losses. It is about development.

So let's see how we have done with that.....

Most progress? Whitehead. Thrown into the fire because of injuries and while he is not even close to being a backup PG in the NBA, he has shown signs that he has game. I don't know if he is going to be a pg, or a sg or a combo. But I think he is going to be at least an NBA rotation player, maybe even next year?

Player's found: Booker has proven that he is at least a starter on a bad team. He hadn't been a starter before. Harris has proven that he can shoot, drive and play D. He will get more playing time when Boggy is dealt. Hamilton on offense is a stretch five, and on defense, he is me, only taller. He can shoot, but is not a rotation player even on this kind of team.

Least progress? RHJ-I know it is still like his rookie year. AND he has shown flashes, but he isn't anymore than he was as a total green rookie at the beginning of last year.

Unknown? CMAC- burned up the D-League, but does he have a position and can he play D. Experience wise, he is still in college. Rather he stayed in the D-League, and worked with a defensive coach, and ate 3 lbs of potato salad every day.

Hot & Cold? SKILL. We screwed him up asking him to play the point. But maybe that will pay off, once he gets his head on straight. CHEAP CHEAP contract. Last game, I could have made some of the shots he missed.

Trade them now: Brook for two #1's and a defensive big, and Boggy for a #1 or an up and coming player on a cheap contract.

BIG QUESTION: Will we win another game this season? I have my doubts.

Biggest disappointment: LIN Without him, this is what we get...8 wins at the halfway mark. I think this hamstring is much worse than anyone is willing to admit and/or Lin has a low threshold for pain. Either way, unless he comes back, we might be looking at a 8-74 season. AND surely the Celtics get the number 1 overall. Thanks BK!
