As David Pick, the European hoops writer tweeted, there’s never been a lack of pro teams willing to take a risk on Anthony Bennett...

Europe has rebounded TWO former No. 1 NBA draft picks in same season.

Andrea Bargnani --> Baskonia
Anthony Bennett --> Fenerbahce
Call it the Brooklyn Pipeline
This has the look of a deal that was in the works before the Nets waived Bennett for Quincy Acy four days ago. At the time, Kenny Atkinson said, “This gives him an opportunity ... to have a possibility with other teams. It also gives us a roster spot.”
The move may also help the Nets (a bit) re the salary cap. Bennett will make $400,000 from Fenerbahce. That amount is deducted from what the Nets owe Bennett for cap purposes.
