Kenny Atkinson and Nets players Rondae Hollis Jefferson and Caris LeVert will attend the third annual Brooklyn Nets Hamptons Basketball Camp Powered by DRIBBL. The five-day camp will take place at Southampton Town Recreation Center, 1370A Majors Path in Southampton, from August 29 through September 2.
It's one of several camps on Long Island that Atkinson, a native of Northport, will run this summer.
The camp is open to youngsters entering the 2016-17 school year from pre-K to eighth grade. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with half-day sessions available.
According to the Nets, Atkinson, Hollis-Jefferson, LeVert and coaches from DRIBBL, the award-winning New York-based basketball program, will offer campers of all skill-levels personalized instruction to develop and refine their basketball ability, while emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork. Campers will receive Nets camp uniforms and merchandise.
"We’re excited to bring the Brooklyn Nets back to the Hamptons," said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. "Like our first two years, we expect this camp to sell out. We’ve received great feedback about the camp experience and the facility, and we’re looking forward to helping campers learn the game and have fun."
