The Nets will introduce six of their 10 new players Wednesday at a press conference and an Open House, both in Brooklyn.
The press conference will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at HSS Training Center in Sunset Park. The press conference will be televised live on the YES Network and streamed live on both the Nets' Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BrooklynNets) and brooklynnets.com.
The Open House will take play five and a half hours later at Barclays Center. The event is open to all Nets fans, but those wanting to attend have to go to the Nets ticketmaster page to obtain general admission tickets. There is no charge for the tickets, but there's a limit of four per person.
The seven players who are expected to show and hold up their new jerseys are: Jeremy Lin, Caris LeVert, Joe Harris, Trevor Booker, Anthony Bennett, and Justin Hamilton. Luis Scola and Greivis Vasquez have Olympic commitments. Isaiah Whitehead was already introduced in Coney Island. Randy Foye has a scheduling conflict.
As part of the event, Sean Marks, Kenny Atkinson, and the new Nets players will participate in a Q&A session comprised of questions already submitted by fans. A Nets spokesman says players will not be available to sign autographs.
