Las Vegas Summer League Tournament: Nets get the 6th seed

New, comments
Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets are 2-1 in Las Vegas Summer League play, which is good enough to earn them the 6th seed and a first round bye in the Tournament portion of play.

This means, the Nets will play on Thursday, July 14, against the winner of the Philadelphia 76ers vs. the NBA D-League Selects. That game takes place on Wednesday at 6:30 PM EST, and the Nets game will take place on Thursday at 6:30 PM EST.

Presumably, the game will air on NBA TV, or at the very least be streamable.

If the Nets win, they will play again on Saturday, and then on Sunday in the semi-finals and Monday in the Finals, if they keep on winning.

Hey, if they get hot and go on a run, you never know. If anything, the young players are fun to watch, and as coach Kenny Atkinson will tell you, it's nice to see them in situations where they have to close out games and battle through some of those key learning moments.
