The Brooklyn Nets have had a busy day, signing both Jeremy Lin and center Justin Hamilton. Now, according to Sean Deveney of Sporting News, the Nets are looking at Pacers free agent center Jordan Hill.
Hill, 29, spent last season with the Pacers, after spending the three previous seasons with the Lakers. He averaged 8.8 points and 6.2 rebounds in just over 20 minutes per game last season, starting in 11 games and playing in 73 for the Pacers.
This isn't the first time the Nets have shown interest in Hill, as they had reportedly looked into trading for him during the 2013-14 trade deadline.
The Nets will have three centers under contract, with Brook Lopez, Hamilton and Hill, if they do sign him. He is being looked at by the Bulls and Spurs as well, according to Deveney, which means it's probably smart that the Nets are in the conversation. Because if the Spurs are looking at him...this then justifies the mean.
