Brooklyn Nets back in the Hamptons

DRIBBLL

The march towards Long Island continues.

The Nets will travel the length of the island in late August for the third annual Brooklyn Nets Hamptons Basketball Camp. at the Southhampton Town Recreation Center. The camp will run from August 29 to September 2 and be open fro children from Pre-K through eighth grade.

The names of the Nets players who'll attend haven't been releases, but  in the recent past, Brook Lopez, Jarrett Jack, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, and Chris McCullough have made appearances to help the campers learn the game. The players will be gathering in Brooklyn around that time for volunteer workouts.

The Nets and DRIBBL, the award-winning New York-based basketball program, will offer campers of all skill-levels personalized instruction from Nets personnel and DRIBBL coaches to develop and refine their basketball ability, while emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork.  All campers will receive two tickets to a Brooklyn Nets game in November. Campers will also receive Nets camp uniforms and merchandise.

Although the camp has been around for three years, it's representative of the Nets marketing efforts on Nassau and Suffolk.
