Sean Kilpatrick talked to Sarah Kustok this week about his journey from White Plains to Brooklyn, a little less than 33 miles through New York City. But it was a journey that took several years and had a lot of stops not on I-278, places like Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Philadephia, Minneapolis and Newark, Delaware.
Kilpatrick explains how his mother saw NBA potential in her son and how in his darkest hours, when he was passed over in NBA Draft, she rallied him.
And he admits being overwhelmed his first game in Brooklyn, not just by the emotion of the moment, but by what he owes Sean Marks
