Maybe Mikhail Prokhorov should dispatch his Airbus A319 private jet to rescue his D-League team. Or how about a case of vodka?
After winning two straight, the Long Island Nets have had an aviation horror show the last two days, with cancelled and delayed flights as they try to make their way from Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Brooklyn. As Beau Beech can tell you, there’s only one non-stop a day, leaving at 6 a.m.
It started with a weather delay after Friday night’s win. That’s understandable. But then... Beech narrates it all. Check the time stamps ... and increasing frustration.
