Jeremy Lin has gone from probable to certain. He will play Monday night vs. the Rockets in Houston. Will he start? No one is saying. Will he have a minutes restriction? Probably but no one is talking about that either.
Still the prospect of Lin being on court in uniform is a dramatic improvement over him on the bench in colorful outfits, no matter how fashionable.
Lin spoke about his return Monday morning.

Lin practiced only once after going all-out on Friday. He said he got the go-ahead because he met all the measurements laid out by the Nets performance team.
What will the Nets look like with Lin on the court? Will there be any difference from the five games he did play at the beginning of the season?
Kenny Atkinson said he’s interested in some new combinations, perhaps pairing Lin and Sean Kilpatrick. And of course, the coach will have other options he didn’t have when Lin went down on November 2, namely Caris LeVert and Spencer Dinwiddie, both of whom can play with him or in his stead.
Even the player who replaced Lin, starting 12 games, expressed excitement about the news.

Or as Greg Logan tweeted...
#KennyAtkinson declined to say whether .@JLin7 starts vs. #Rockets or not, but I'll be shocked if he doesn't. Teammates craving leadership.
