Is there much Rondae Hollis-Jefferson can't do? We know he dabbles in poetry, plays the piano and now, after appearing in a fashion show, he know he can model. (We'll learn about the rookie's jump shot in a few weeks.)
The 6'7" 20-year-old did the runway thing at New York's Fashion Week, showing a hooded mesh number designed by Rashad Calhoun, of DAHSAR by Rashad. (Maybe just a touch too much eye shadow, but what do we know?)
The 26-year-old Calhoun, like Hollis-Jefferson, has gone from the streets of Chester, PA, to the big time in New York City. Showing support for the rookie were Ryan Boatright, Dahntay Jones, Markel Brown, Willie Reed and noted fashionista Brook Lopez. Afterwards, they mingled with the other models.
It wasn't the only outfit RHJ showed off in the last few days. He and a number of teammates were at the Islanders first preseason game Monday night at Barclays Center. Hollis-Jefferson wore his Islander jersey (or is it sweater?)

As we've noted, there are few rookies handling as much of the marketing load as Rondae. But it sure fits his personality.
