The Nets will open their 2015-16 campaign with a six-game preseason schedule, which includes three home contests played at Barclays Center, Billy King announced Monday. The schedule will take the Nets to Detroit to play the Pistons, Albany to play the 76ers and Boston to play the Celtics.
The preseason slate opens on October 5 in Brooklyn when the Nets will play host to Fenerbahce Ulker of the Turkish Basketball League, with tip at 7:30 p.m. In addition, Brooklyn will host the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, October 14 at 7:30 p.m. and the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 p.m.
