While Fener has a few former NBA players, including the recently signed Pero Antic and Luigi Datome, the headline matchup for this affair would be the battle of the Bogdanovic's --the Nets' Bojan vs. Fener's Bogdan, whose rights are held by the Suns. Often confused, even by ESPN at the NBA Draft two years ago, the two play somewhat similar games although our Bogdanovic is a couple of inches taller. And when Bojan left Fener two years ago, he was replaced by Bogdan. They have the same agent and wear the same number, 7, on their national teams. In the past, we've tried to clear up the confusion.
Last time they met, iin the FIBA World Cup last summer,, Bogdan and Serbia defeated Bojan and Croatia, in overtime Saturday, 84-83, as Bogdan was able to hit the big shot while Bojan was not.
The Nets have played European teams before in preseason. So it's not a big deal, except for those named Bogdanovic.
