Jefferson, a 6'9" power forward, played 50 games for the Nets, starting one. He averaged 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 10.6 minutes.
The Nets have in the last two weeks signed Thomas Robinson and Willie Reed and have agreed to a deal with Andrea Bargnani, all power forwards. When Jefferson clears waivers, the Nets will have 17 players under contract, 13 fully guaranteed.
