Sergei Karasev, Mason Plumlee hang around New York

While most of their teammates are home for the off-season, Sergey Karasev and Mason Plumlee have been working out at the Nets training facility ... and serving as the faces of the Nets roster at public events in the city.

Two days ago, Plumlee participated in the True Blue celebrity softball game at Yankee Stadium which brought together sports, media and political figures to support and honor Wenjian Liu, Brian Moore and Rafael Ramos, NYPD officers killed in the line of duty.

Thursday, Karasev, who's been rehabbing his knee after March surgery, was at Macy's in Brooklyn as part of a  Nets meet-and-greet promotion at the store. He posed with fans, including one very well-known one.
