The Nets sent out 100 staffers --and a few of their players-- out in the neighborhoods of Brooklyn Wednesday. One of those players was Mason Plumlee and, tweeted one, he shocked some of those fans at an autograph session.
Quote from plumlee at autograph signing today to fans .. " Get all pictures and autographs you want .. don't know if I'll be a net tomorow"— Zac Cullen (@ZCullen8) June 25, 2015
Was shocked that he said that.... but he was still there with a nets hat on so will see what happens tomorow ....— Zac Cullen (@ZCullen8) June 25, 2015
Was Plumlee kidding? Just taking advantage of the latest rumors, which had the Nets offering him to lottery teams ... but no lower. Or does he know something? Has his agent let him in on something? As Plumlee said, we won't know until Thursday.
On Thursday morning, Jeff Goodman of ESPN tweeted out that "Brooklyn continues to be aggressive trying to move up into lottery. Mason Plumlee being actively shopped, sources told ESPN."
