Brooklyn Nets Final NBA Draft workouts announced

The Brooklyn Nets will hold their final 2015 NBA Draft workout on Monday, June 22, when they will workout six players in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Nets will bring in the following players:

Two of those listed --Andrew Harrison and Cliff Alexander-- have been linked to the Nets in mock drafts, Harrison in the second round, Alexander in the first.  Pat Connaughton will garner some interest from reporters. He's a pitcher n the Orioles farm system ... and had the best max vertical at the Pre-Draft Combine, a staggering 44 inches.

Nets' GM Billy King will meet with the media after the session. One pressing question unrelated to the draft: League sources say Monday is the deadline for Thaddeus Young to decide on his player option for next season.

The Draft will take place on Thursday, June 25, at The Barclays Center. As of now, the Nets will pick 29th overall and 41st, in the second round. As many as 12,000 fans are expected to attend, with big contingents of fans from the Knicks and Sixers likely to attend.

While this is the final scheduled workout, the Nets will have three days --Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning-- to bring someone in or bring someone back.  Most first round prospects will be in New York for the Draft, making a quick stop in East Rutherford easy to arrange.  In 2011, the Nets brought Bojan Bogdanovic in the morning of the Draft, then took him later that night.

There have been some rumors around that the Nets are looking to move up in the draft, possibly moving Mason Plumlee in order to get into the late Lottery. Of course, we'll continue to hear more rumors as we get closer to Thursday's draft.
