Six draft prospects worked out Monday at the Nets training facility in East Rutherford, but only one --Wyoming PF Larry Nance Jr.-- is on anyone's mock draft and he's way down the bottom. Arizona PG T.J. McConnell has an outside shot at the late second round, but the others are likely to be undrafted. St. John's Sir'Dominic Pointer was also on hand.
The bigger news was that Brook Lopez and a number of other young Nets were in the gym practicing. Lopez was seen taking --and making-- three pointers three and four feet beyond the arc, being fed by assistant big man coach Joe Wolf. So Lionel Hollins has to know.

Also on hand, according to beat writers: Mason Plumlee, Markel Brown, Cory Jefferson and Xavier Thames, former San Diego State guard whose draft rights belong to the Nets. It had the look of an early workout for the Nets summer league teams. All but Lopez are expected to play for the Nets entries in the Orlando and Las Vegas leagues.
It won't be long before the Nets pull together those rosters. Practice for Orlando is likely to start a few days after the Draft.
Lopez has until next Monday to let the Nets know whether he's opting out of his $16.7 million expiring or stick around for another year in hopes of cashing in on the 2016 increase in the salary cap. While some pundits think the Nets should think twice about giving him a new max deal, it's a given the Nets want him back and only the max will bring him back.
