Nets NBA Draft workouts include Sir'Dominic Pointer, Travis Trice and others

The Brooklyn Nets announced another round of NBA Draft workouts, which will start on Monday, June 15th, and run through Thursday, June 18th. They will work out a total of 24 players in four days, some of who have familiar and intriguing names.  By the time these prospects have been worked out, the Nets will have looked at 54 players ... and will have another week before the June 25 draft to work out others.

Some late first rounders in the mix, along with some intriguing second rounders. You have a local player in Sir'Dominic Pointer out of St. Johns as well as some familiar names, with Marcus Thornton and Josh Smith -- no, not THOSE Marcus Thorntons and Josh Smiths. Of the group, the highest rated on the Draft Express mock is Jordan Mickey, the LSU big man

This will be the Nets' third round of NBA Draft work outs.  In addition, other prospects or their agents have said they expect to work out for Brooklyn, including Rashad Vaughn of UNLV; Joseph Young of Oregon and  Jherrod Stiggers of Houston, all guards.  Vaughn and Young are projected as first rounders.
