Tickets for NBA Draft go on sale in two weeks

The NBA confirmed on Tuesday that the NBA Draft will take place at Barclays Center on June 25, the third straight time the arena has hosted the draft and the fifth straight time the Nets have hosted it.

Tickets starting at $20 will be available for public sale beginning Thursday, May 28 through nbatickets.com or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets will also be available at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center beginning Friday, May 29 at noon.

Last year, Tickets are priced at $15, $20 and $35 and in 2013, they were $20 and $35.  Last year, Barclays Center expected 10,000 fans to show up, but the attendance didn't quite match expectations. One reason: neither the Knicks nor the Nets had first or second round picks going into the Draft. This year, however, the Knicks will have a high lottery pick and the Nets will have picks in both rounds.

Tim Bontemps first reported that Barclays would be the site of the draft.
