Late in Sunday's Game 1 matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, center Al Horford dislocated his pinky, causing him to exit the game and head to the locker room. His stint with the trainer was brief, but the injury seems to be more serious than initially thought.
Regarding whether he'll play in Game 2 on Wednesday, Al Horford says "there's still some question about it."

Al Horford says there's "still some question" about his availability for G2 Wednesday against the Nets. Treated all night, not much sleep.

The Hawks are already without Thabo Sefolosha for the series and Paul Millsap remains banged up, so any time missed by Horford will be a major blow for the top-seeded Hawks. In fact, Millsap told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that his shooting is affected by the padding he has worn to protect his injured right shoulder. Milsap injured it in the Hawk game vs. the Nets a little more than a week ago.
However, Game 2 isn't until Wednesday, so there's still some time for Hoford to heal and rest up. We'll continue to monitir his status as we get closer to game day.
