"He is lethal!"
That was one phrase Ian Eagle used Wednesday night to describe Bojan Bogdanovic's shooting heroics. The 6'8" Croatian refused to let the Nets lose, hitting key shot after key shot in the second half on his way to a career high 28 points on 12-of-17 shooting, including 4-of-8 shooting from deep.
It got noticed back in Croatia where the ghost of Drazen Petrovic still wins the Nets fans. Here's the front page of Sportske Novosti, the country's big sports newspaper and website. Translation: "'Bogie' saved the Nets!" We cannot disagree.
Here's a compilation of all 28 points vs. the Magic. Watch the scoreboard in the lower right to get a sense how important each was and listen to Ian Eagle, who rightly described his performance this way: "Bojan Bogdanovic has come to play."
