The Nets will have Thaddeus Young "available to play" Tuesday vs. the Pacers, the Nets announced. Also, Deron Williams who missed practice both sides of the Laker game Sunday was at practice Tuesday. He had been described as being ill.
Young, who the Nets traded for Kevin Garnett at the deadline, had missed the Cavaliers and Lakers games with a left knee sprain suffered against Charlotte. As insurance, the Nets signed Earl Clark to a 10-day deal last Friday. Clark came off the bench in both games, scoring seven points in the first game and grabbing eight rebounds in the other.
Young told beat writers that he's not sure if he'll start or how many minutes he'll play, but says he's been working out for a few days and has no pain in left knee. He was seen slapping fives with Trainer Tim Walsh after Mondays practice. He said he knew his injury wasn't serious. All he wanted was to "walk off the court"
