It rocked the basketball world. Mirza Teletovic was ruled out for the remainder of the season with blood clots in his lungs in late January, a crippling injury to the Nets, but also a life altering injury to the Bosnian sharp shooter. However, Teletovic's recovery has been astonishing, and Monday night at the Barclays Center, he spoke about his injury and his recovery.
Mirza Teletovic says that he has no genetic predisposition for blood clots. Says he should be able to play in six months.

Mirza says there is an 80 percent certainty, according to doctors, that hip pointer he suffered against Cleveland was cause of it.

The Nets reserve forward has been seen working out at the Nets practice facility in East Rutherford, but he still isn't cleared for basketball activities, yet.
"I can lift weights, sprint, run, shoot, dunk, but I can't play basketball."

Teletovic, a restricted free agent this offseason, mentioned that he wanted to return to Brooklyn next season.

Teletovic also said that he will reach out to Chris Bosh, who faces a similar injury after having been diagnosed with blood clots and ruled out for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
It's an incredible story that Teletovic has been able to recover from such an illness so quickly, and we also hope that Chris Bosh follows a similar recovery.
