Video: Sergey Karasev injured his right knee vs. the Pelicans, was carried off the court

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

BROOKLYN -- Add Sergey Karasev to the list of injured Brooklny Nets players on Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, as he injured his right knee midway through the fourth quarter of Tuesday's loss and had to be carried off the court by his teammates.

The Nets are saying that Karasev's injury is a sprained right knee. They are going to conduct further tests to see how severe the injury is on Wednesday.

Earlier, Alan Anderson (tailbone) and Markel Brown (ankle) exited the game due to injury. Karasev's injury, however, seemed to look a bit more severe than either of the other two, as he had to be carried off the court and could not put any pressure on his knee. We'll continue to update as we hear more, but for now that's three Nets injured on Tuesday night.

Brooklyn plays again on Wednesday night in Miami against the Heat.
