Brooklyn Nets rookie guard Markel Brown will start at the two-guard position on Monday night when the Nets suit up against the Denver Nuggets. Brown, who scored a career-best nine points in 15 minutes during Friday night's win over the Lakers, will pick up his first career start.

With Jarrett Jack and Bojan Bogdanovic both out on Monday, Lionel Hollins will need Brown to play strong minutes. This coming after his performance on Friday in which Hollins said that he "likes" Markel and that he's "happy the opportunity is here for him."
