Joe Johnson: I'm on the block

If you're looking for evidence that the Nets are pursuing trade options, here it is. Joe Johnson told beat writers in Los Angeles that his agent has told him he is on the trading block.

Joe said he spoke with his agent about trade rumors and "yeah the rumors are true. My name is out there." Said his phone will be on tomorrow

Joe Johnson said rumors are true about his name being out there, and admitted that "it's been kind of different" this year because of it.

That said, a league source tells NetsDaily that there's "nothing" to the latest rumor, that the Pistons and Nets are engaged in talks that would send Johnson to Detroit for a package of Brandon Jennings, who's out for the season and expiring contracts, namely Jonas Jerebko, Caron Butler and draft picks. NetsDaily has also been told there is one deal that bears promise, but sources didn't provide details and it's by no means certain.

Still, Lionel Hollins said he said he's still "pretty certain" Nets roster will look the same tomorrow.
