The Nets practice Monday and when beat writers get a chance to talk with Lionel Hollins, the first question is likely to be about Rondae Hollis-Jefferson's right ankle. After hurting it on Saturday during practice, RHJ arrived at Barclay Center Sunday in a walking boot. He left on crutches.
As Andy Vasquez writes...
Judging from the scene in the locker room, it doesn’t seem as if rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will be back on the court anytime soon. Hollis-Jefferson departed Barclays Center on crutches, moving slowly and hardly putting any weight on his injured right ankle.
He did participate in an autograph signing for season ticket-holders after the Warriors game.
Hollis-Jefferson injured the same ankle during pre-season. He has been starting and putting up big numbers in steals and rebounding while covering the opponents' best wing player.
